Job opportunity: Solar home system regional sales manager at PVSTAR
PVSTAR is exploring the off grid residential solar market in Kenya by Pay As You Go model. The product that PVSTAR providing to the market is the solar home system;
Responsibilities
- This position is responsible for the market development in the target county of Kenya and following up on customer installment payments; Ensure that the sales and payment progress both meet the targets;
- Responsible for recruiting distributors in the target sales area, establishing a distributor base in the target sales area according to the plan, developing recruitment plans, output work report on recruitment progress weekly and monthly, and ensuring timely completion of distributor recruitment;
- Responsible for recruiting sales agents in the target sales area, developing recruitment plans, summarizing recruitment progress weekly and monthly, and ensuring timely completion of distributor recruitment;
- Develop a monthly offline market activity plan for the target sales area, specifying the time, location, content, and participating distributors and agents to ensure efficient generation of sales leads for the target area. Collaborate with local agents and distributors to efficiently record and follow up on sales leads until they are ultimately converted into actual sales orders;
- Output weekly work data for the target sales area, including the latest number of recruited dealers, agents, candidate target installation households, and households that have completed installation, to ensure that sales work progresses according to schedule and ultimately achieves sales targets;
- Responsible for leading the training of dealers and sales agents in the responsible area, as well as the management of agents;
- Responsible for the progress of payment collection in the responsible area, responsible for recruiting and managing payment collection agents in the responsible area, assisting in the follow-up work of already sold family payments in the area, and ensuring the progress of payment collection.
Qualifications for the position:
- Familiar with the local off grid residential solar market in Kenya, with at least 3 years of experience in the off grid solar industry;
- Familiar with the market distribution of the target sales area, with sales agents, payment collection agents, and distributor resources;
- Having the confidence to successfully develop relevant regional markets;
- Passionate about green energy, willing to challenge oneself and earn high salary.
